21-year-old Vinny Price has won the final event on the GUKPT Summer Series. He outlasted a field of 121 players to win the £19,520 first prize and a seat in the Champion of Champions tournament.

The next event on the GUKPT is the online festival, which takes place on Blue Square Poker from 20th-24th June. The next live event is leg 6, which takes place at the G casino in Luton in the first week of August.

Tony Phillips won the 5th leg of the GUKPT at the Grosvenor Casino in Newcastle. He defeated a field of 151 players to take home the £47,200 first prize.

Simon Moorman has won the 4th leg of the 2009 GUKPT, defeating a field fo 298 players at the G casino in Manchester to take down the first prize of £88,630.

A new addition to the GUKPT calendar during 2009 will be the GUKPT National League that will give players in every Grosvenor or G Casino throughout the country the opportunity to pit their wits against each other, along with their online counterparts, in a central competition.
