Mike Butlin posts the fourth instalment of his daily diary from Leg 4 of the GUKPT

Leg 4 Manchester, day 4

Eleven players return today for the final day of Leg 4 of the GUKPT, including Blue Square Poker online qualifier Zachary Ford, as well as more well known players such as Joe 'The Joker' Grech, 'Mr Cool' Marc Goodwin and Nic Persaud, who seems to finish in the money in virtually every leg of the tour.

There are few weary looking players wandering around ahead of today's play and we need two more to depart before we get to our final table.

A few other people are weary for non-poker reasons. Last night a number of players found themselves in Manchester nightspot 'The Birdcage' with live caberet consisting of a variety of drag acts! Most of the players seemed delighted with the large ratio of women to men in the club and Mickey 'The Legend' Wernick in particular enjoyed the cheesy music.

Today we are eagerly anticipating the arrival of our PR girls – twin sisters – for the publicity shots with today's victor. If that's not an added incentive to win, I don't know what is.
