Summer Series 1B – G Casino Dundee

The week belonged to Lewis Fowler at this half of the GUKPT Summer Series.  He won back to back events – one being the £500 Main Event for £5,550 – and left the Dundee festival lying just outside the top ten in Ranking Points having picked up two trophies.  Fowler’s field was slighter than that on the South coast, but he faced tough opposition from runner-up James Rann, and fellow cashers Garry Westwater, Clive Smith and Malcolm Mckinlay.

Also accomplishing a one-two during the weekend was Graham Pound, who won the final £100 Bounty Booster tournament for £1,045 after finishing runner-up to Colin Gillon in the £200 No Limit Freezeout.  These two players probably had the most successful run of any at either of the venues hosting the simultaneous events, and they have a choice of four more Grosvenor venues to continue their live domination over the summer months.  To view the schedule for the next GUKPT Summer Series festivals, or see full results for events that have concluded, please visit the Events Tab.

Bolton and Plymouth will host the second hotly-anticipated round of events, beginning on the 9th June, with the £500 Main Event taking place on the 11th-12th.
